Deutsches Jungvolk
The Deutsches Jungvolk (German Youth) was a subdivision of the Hitler Youth for boys aged 10 to 14. It reinforced the Nationalsozialistische view of aryan ideals and transmitted the Nazi idea of the Volksgemeinschaft. It had an emphasis on teaching loyalty to Hitler, the regime and sponsored youth activity to reinforce the said importance of male physical strength, vitality and militarism at a very young age. Parents could send their children to become members of the organization until a certain age. The Nazi's believed that teaching children how to become tough and brutal would free them from their weaknesses.
